Summary
We are seeking a deeply kind, gentle, and loving female Support Worker to provide dedicated care for an individual residing in the Addingham/Ilkley area. We have both day shifts (8am – 8pm) and waking night shifts (8pm – 8am) available to suit your preference. In this role, you will ensure our client feels safe, respected, and fully supported in their routine. The ideal candidate will have experience or training in administering Buccal Midazolam, though we are happy to offer comprehensive professional training to candidates who demonstrate the right heart and attitude for this gentle care setting.
Skills needed
- A naturally kind, gentle, patient, and loving personality is the primary requirement for this role.
- Trained in the administration of Buccal Midazolam (highly preferred), or fully willing to undergo our specialist internal training course (completed at a cost/deduction structure to be detailed upon offer).
- Strong listening skills and an ability to maintain a calm, reassuring environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working consistent 12-hour shifts.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential, provided you have a reliable way to commute to the Addingham/Ilkley location for shift changeovers.

Working pattern and days
Fixed 12-hour shifts operating on a 24/7 rota:
- Day Shifts: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Night Shifts: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- Rotas operate across a 7-day week, with patterns to be agreed upon during the interview process.
