Job Description

We are looking for a certified and experience healthcare assistant

Role and Responsibilities:

  • To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role.
  • Providing support with mobility and helping service users move around.
  • Assist service users with personal care (undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
  • Assist service users with their meals.
  • Interact with service users in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Ensuring the comfort and safety of the service users, including the maintenance of a clean and organized environment.
  • Use any mechanical and non-mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.
  • Communicate with other colleagues and senior level staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of service user’s activities, update notes accordingly in care plans etc.

Ideal Contractor:

  • Must be hard working and honest.
  • Must have a valid care training certificate.
  • Must be experienced in a care setting.
  • Must have minimum of 3 months previous experience in a care setting.
  • Must hold a current and valid enhanced DBS.
  • Must be willing to get paid as a contractor under an umbrella company.
  • Must have experience in customer service.
