Role and Responsibilities:

• To be an integral part of the team to support all aspects of the caring role.
• Assist residents with personal care (Undressing, bathing, dressing, toileting, pad changes).
• Assist residents with their meals.
• Engage with the residents (Chatting, Taking them on a walk around the grounds).
• Lite Cleaning duties (Cleaning the residents’ rooms etc, wiping tables after meals, etc).
• Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to.
• Using any mechanical and non-mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.
• Communicate with other colleagues and senior-level staff.
• Maintain Confidentiality.
• Update notes accordingly in care plans etc

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be hard-working and Honest
• Must be reliable
• Must have 3 months previous experience and have current care certificate
• Must hold a valid DBS
• Driver preferred but not essential
• Be friendly and able to engage with others
