SENIOR HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
Our client urgent requires Senior Healthcare Assistant to work a range of day and nights shifts within their 50-bedroom luxury residential in Bradford- to support their older clients with dementia, and mental health.

Ideal Candidate

- Have a valid DBS on the Gov.UK update service or be willing to apply for a new DB.
- Driver with own transportation (advantageous) and willing to work in a variety of locations

Key Responsibilities
- Ability to administer medication
- Assist qualified nursing staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- To assist the qualified nurse in the planning and allocation of resources
- To assist in engaging patients in a range of therapies as prescribed by the therapy team
- To assist in the mentorship and supervision of junior staff
- To assist in the induction of new staff onto the unit
- Provide practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and
- toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and relevant healthcare legislation
- Observe and monitor the well-being of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental, or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior
- staff/the primary
